Since its establishment in 2015, Ain Ashmaro Food Import Company has adopted a vision based on leadership, quality, and commitment, enabling us to quickly establish ourselves as one of the leading companies in Libya’s food sector.
The company has witnessed continuous growth since its inception, thanks to a clear strategy aimed at providing all the essential and strategic food commodities required by the Libyan market, most notably: rice, flour, sugar, oils, tomato paste, tuna, tea, and other high-demand consumer goods.
The company has been keen to import its products from the best food manufacturing countries around the world, such as Egypt, Italy, Ukraine, Turkey, Thailand, Sri Lanka, and others, to ensure the provision of high-quality goods that meet the expectations of the Libyan consumer and comply with market standards.
Driven by our desire to strengthen our presence and build a strong identity in the local market, the company’s management decided to launch its own brand: Al-Hawari, to represent a quality befitting the trust of our clients and partners.
In 2024, the Al-Hawari brand took its first steps in the Libyan market by importing essential products in high demand, including: tomato paste, sunflower oil, corn oil, Skipjack tuna, as well as flour, rice, and sugar.
A select group of international companies specializing in the production of these items were chosen, and the company collaborated with international inspection firms to ensure product quality at every stage of manufacturing and packaging.
The company also equipped its warehouses with state-of-the-art storage facilities and modern logistics technologies, adhering to the highest standards of safety and hygiene. Experienced warehouse management personnel were employed to guarantee product quality from arrival to delivery to customers throughout Libya.
